Effective 1 November 2026.
This policy explains how PT Indo Smart Media ("we"), as data controller, handles personal data of users of the EVPedia website and app, in line with Indonesia's Personal Data Protection Law No. 27 of 2022.
1. Data we collect
- Account data: name, email, phone number (optional) and a hashed password.
- Preference data: city, budget, favourite body type, daily mileage and home-charging availability — used to personalise greetings and recommendations.
- Conversations with EVA: message content, used to generate answers and improve the service.
- Location data: only with your permission, to show nearby charging stations. We do not store it permanently.
- Transaction data: plan purchased, amount, status and payment reference. We do not store your card or bank account details.
- Technical data: IP address, device/browser type and security logs.
2. Purposes
- Providing and personalising the service;
- Processing Premium subscription payments;
- Security and abuse prevention;
- Customer support;
- Aggregated analytics to improve the service.
3. AI and third-party processing
Messages to EVA and recommendation requests are processed by an AI model provider (DeepSeek) via a secure API; we only send what is needed to answer. Payments are processed by WinPay, a payment gateway licensed by Bank Indonesia. Maps use OpenStreetMap; article photos come from Pexels.
4. Storage and security
Data is stored on servers with encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS), passwords are hashed with Argon2, system secrets are AES-256 encrypted, and access is controlled and monitored. Data is kept while your account is active or as required by law.
5. Your rights
You may access, correct and delete your data, withdraw consent and request a copy. You can delete your account at any time via Account → Delete Account on the site or app, or via the Delete Account page.
6. Children
The service is not intended for children under 17 without parental supervision.
7. Changes
We may update this policy and will announce significant changes on the site or app.
